JägNog and "Spare Me the Details"

Jägermeister
Introduced in 1935 in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, this dark brown liqueur is made with 56 herbs and spices and a strength of 35% abv (70 proof).  When literally translated Jägermeister means "master of hunters".

The Offspring
American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California.  They formed in 1984.

Tales of the JägNog
Some people shoot this German herbal digestif ice cold and may shudder upon tasting, but when the house is dry of oaked spirit, fear not! Comes the Jägnog heroically racing... Henry and I gave this a shot, (no pun intended) and with sliced thumbs, hair in buns & pewter being our vessel, the bottle was small but the flavor?...MAGNIFICENT!! We sipped astounded at the delectable depth fused in to this seasonal indulgence.

We feel the lyrics to the song "Spare Me the Details" by Offspring demonstrate Jägermeister's most common consumption.  This cocktail provides gritty irony
because our use of Jägermeister is out of the ordinary and the lyrics beg us to "spare the details" though here at Tunes and Tonic, we are ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS!!

Enjoy JägNog while listening to the song provided below.
(but don't drink 7 of them at once)
Cheers!
